Personal Awards

President's List

The President’s List is the most distinguished awards list on which a cadet can be placed. It indicates excellence in academics and military duties. The list is a combination of the Dean’s List for academic achievement and the Commandant’s Distinguished List, which is composed of cadets who contribute the most to their companies and who have excellent military and academic records.

Gold Stars

Gold stars are awarded each semester to those cadets who have a GPR (grade point ratio) of 3.7 or more. Stars are worn on the collars of dress and full dress uniforms. On the summer leave uniform, the stars are worn above the right shirt pocket.

Dean's List

Dean's List recognition is given to those students registered for 12 or more semester hours whose grade point ratio is 3.2 or higher with no grade below a C for the previous semester's work.
